Marika is a NGA Certified guardian since 2013. She started the program in 2009 in Ada County, left in 2013 to be a guardian in Portland, OR and then came back to Ada County in 2019. She has 2 bachelor’s degrees from BSU: in psychology and criminal justice. Marika is officially the program manager for the board of guardians. She has 3 client coordinators and an admin position under her wing. Marika is on the Ada County Board of Guardians.
