Guardianship & Supported Decision Making

Jun 20,2018 - Time: 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

IGFA JUNE MEETING CANCELLED

IGFA has cancelled our regularly scheduled monthly meeting for June 2018.  Instead, if applicable, we encourage you to attend The Idaho Supreme Court sponsored training “Guardianship & Supported Decision Making” on June 20, 2018 from 8:30am to 1:30pm at the Idaho Law and Justice Learning Center in downtown Boise. Supported decision making is a process of supporting and accommodating an adult to enable them to make life decisions, including decisions related to where the adult wants to live, the services, supports, and medical care they wants to receive, whom the adult wants to live with, and where the adult wants to work, without impeding self-determination. Learn from a national speaker and local experts on the basics of supported decision making and when a less restrictive alternative to full guardianship may be appropriate. This class is free but seating is limited; to register, please go here.  *NO REGISTRATION THROUGH THIS SITE

Location

Idaho Law and Justice Learning Center Room 313
514 W. Jefferson St.
